This beautiful, Cherokee designed acrylic clock features a vibrant leaf striped in rich shades of green, blue, deep red and yellow. Along the edge of the leaf are 7 dots, 6 red dots and one yellow one. These represent the seven clans that compose the Cherokee Nation. Seven is a sacred number to the Cherokees, as is the number four. Multiples of seven and four can be seen frequently in design. The yellow dots represent noon and three, The white dot at the bottom represents six and a large red dot represents nine. The clock is 10.75 inches square making it the prominent enough to be a piece of stand alone art on a wall.
